What are you passionate about

What drives you?

For me its the freedom to create, it could be through writing, through dancing, the way I dress, it could be a topic that’s very touchy, but it all comes from that place DEEP within my core.

The word passion is used a lot, it could be cliché, but you know what its very fitting, because it explains that fire that many of us feel when we are doing exactly what we love to do, it’s a burning desire, a sensation that could only be understood if you have felt it too.

I’m passionate about life and what it has to offer, I’m passionate about standing up tall, when many want to suffocate my essence.

Find what your passionate about and live it.

If your passionate about more than one thing then embrace all of it.

That’s my thought for July, whatever it is your passionate about,  live, eat, breathe  and sleep all of it.

Passion

Passion….I love that word…Don’t laugh…I probably sound all out there right now…

Well here’s why I say that…I was watching a few music videos from way back…and I mean way back….from the Drifters…to the Supremes…I led my way up to Michael Jackson, and Janet Jackson…and I thought wow…the passion that they had was so…. powerful…so raw…so real

There’s a certain realness that I got from watching those videos…it wasn’t just the music it was the story line, the videography, the movement…it was amazing and refreshing….Michael Jackson…yes he’s out there with the costumes and the big budget videos but the passion he had was and still is amazing…the choreography was simple but effective…if you study it…you may start to laugh and ask yourself what am I watching…not that its bad…but its genius..because its so simple and real…and what he puts behind it was so strong…he gave his entire being to grabbing his crotch, screaming and executing each move.

What he put behind each move was so powerful…it was passion…what I got from those videos was passion…the kind of passion that others could feel.

So from this, what I’m saying is when you do something do it from within…dance from within…be passionate about it…I think that sets allot of people apart…when someone is passionate about something its like fire..you could feel it even when you don’t want to…

Think Big

Think Big.

You know your dreams, your goals more than anyone else. No one else has to know them but you, so why think small.

Think Big. No big is not always better, what I’m saying is don’t put restrictions on yourself. If you want to go on a world tour with Britney spears, Usher, etc…Don’t hide from it…Why not…whatever it is….Think Big…and go for it…If you want to start your own business…you see the potential that the business has but yet…your thinking I’ll just stick with this because…….If you see yourself one of these days designing outfits that are one of a kind, do it….why not….

Don’t stop your creativity, passion and drive…No one has to know but you…and when you don’t say much, people will know that you think big because your actions show for it…Think Big…and don’t look back. It’s like your own little big secret.

For me, my thought process was always limited, I would think of something, but then I would stop myself because I thought girl your out of your mind. Well now, and I’m telling the honest truth, I tell myself just go for it you will never know, plus the people I keep around me, tell me to go for it after I share my jitters with them….
